If you’re attending MINExpo International 2012 in Las Vegas this week there’s a good reason to stick around after the show.
The day after MINExpo on September 27th Ritchie Bros. will be conducting a simulcast of the second day of bidding at the massive mining and earthmoving grand opening auction happening in Raleigh-Durham, NC. The Raleigh-Durham auction will be broadcast live on the large theater screen at our Las Vegas auction site with in-person bidding available to the public.
The simulcast Raleigh-Durham auction will feature an unprecedented number of Caterpillar D11 crawler tractors. With over 60 D11s signed up, more will be sold in one day than Ritchie Bros. has sold in the past four years combined.
Over 180 combined pieces of mining and earthmoving equipment will be featured in this total divestiture of non-strategic equipment by West Virginia based Trinity Coal Corporation, with 1,752 total items selling throughout the 2-day auction.
Also included in the auction will be more than 35 Caterpillar 777 rock trucks and more than 30 wheel loaders.
Register and bid at the Raleigh-Durham auction in one of four ways:
- In person at the Raleigh-Durham auction site
- In person at the Las Vegas auction site to bid via simulcast
- Online at rbauction.com, or
- By proxy by calling 919-764-1900
Every item will be sold to the highest bidder on auction day. No minimum bids, no reserve prices.
