Unparalleled Marketing
Our intensive marketing program ensures that potential buyers are promptly informed about upcoming agricultural equipment for auction. For each and every auction held, tens of thousands of full-color brochures are mailed to a selection from our database of over 400,000 interested buyers.
In addition to direct brochure mailings, auction specific advertisements are placed in local and regional trade magazines and newspapers, on the radio and on our high-traffic web site, rbauction.com.
The rbauction.com web site allows customers to search for equipment in upcoming auctions, find a complete and current auction calendar, review the last two years of auction results, among other convenient online services. On average, 24,000 different people visit the Ritchie Bros. web site every week!
Auction Day
Each of our auctions is designed with the comfort and convenience of the buying customer in mind. This includes providing third party services that are consistent from one location to another. Shuttle buses, catering, financing and transportation companies - and customs brokers where required - are available at all of our facilities around the world.
Selling all varieties of equipment, Ritchie Bros. plans and organizes the sale in a logical order. Upon registration, each bidder receives a catalog describing each item in sale order.

When you consign agricultural equipment at a Ritchie Bros. auction, we take care of all the details. We help consignors with all their equipment items - no matter the make, model, manufacturer, or age. No need to worry about collecting from multiple buyers or managing receivables. After the auction, we handle the collections, take care of sales tax issues, and pay out net proceeds.
