Maximize Your Return Selling with Ritchie Bros
Sometimes your equipment simply needs to be washed, and left in its working clothes. Other times the item may require cosmetic repairs and paint. In both cases, Ritchie Bros. works with you to help you get the most value for your investment.
Before we do anything, a team of Ritchie Bros. experts inspects your equipment. Recommendations for any mechanical repairs, metal work, glass, upholstery, and paint will be made to help you attain the maximum result for your equipment.
Our refurbishing centers are conveniently located at all of our permanent auction sites. All are fully equipped, making the Ritchie Bros. auction site your one-stop solution.
Environmentally friendly facilities With tightened environmental regulations in many areas, equipment owners who want to paint their equipment are finding fewer alternatives. We provide an environmentally friendly solution that is cost competitive.
- Equipment is washed using the latest environmental technology, allowing us to recycle and treat all water used in the cleaning process.
- Blast and paint rooms are all equipped with filtered dust collectors that control the emission of pollutants into the air. Blast media is recycled.
- All by-products are disposed of properly in accordance with the local laws that govern the facility.
Just Off the Job Site, Need Refurbishing?
Equipment just off the job site is professionally inspected and a quotation is prepared. Following your approval, the refurbishing process begins.
Light Metal Repair Work At this stage, dents are carefully repaired or, when necessary, a new metal piece is welded in.
Washing
After repairs are made, equipment is thoroughly high-pressure washed, removing everyday dirt as well as heavy, built-up grime. At our new facilities all water is cleaned and recirculated.
Blasting
A good paint job starts with thorough preparation. The machine is blasted with a safe garnet material, removing old paint and decals. Blast material is recycled and reused.
Preparing for Paint
After blasting, the machine is blown dry to remove any surface deposits. Then, it's taped and prepped for painting.
Painting
A fresh coat of paint is applied and decals are restored. Once the painting is completed, broken glass and worn seats are replaced and interior detailing is performed.
In addition to truck and heavy construction equipment painting, Ritchie Bros. Refurb services offers painting for all machines.
Ready for Showtime
Whether you're selling your machine in one of our auctions or putting it to work, Ritchie Bros. full-service refurbishing facilities will work for you every step of the way.
