How to Register to Bid Online - Step 3

3. When the auction calendar appears, click "Register" next to the auction you'd like to bid in and provide the following details:

• A phone number where we can reach you during the auction - just in case.
  
  
• Your desired bidding limit (i.e. the maximum amount you expect to spend on auction day).
  Note: there is no fee to register or bid online. However, depending on your purchase history with Ritchie Bros., you may be required to place a refundable bid deposit equaling 25 percent of your bidding limit at least 48 hours before the auction. The higher your desired bidding limit, the higher your required deposit.
  
  
• The payment information for your deposit.
  Note: deposits can be made by Visa or MasterCard at most auctions or by wire transfer. The deposit must be received 48 hours before the auction. See our Online Payment Service for more information about using your credit card.
