3. Everything We Sell is by Unreserved Auction
Ritchie Bros. only conducts unreserved auctions, meaning that every item sells to the highest bidder on auction day. Bidders don't need to worry about artificial price manipulation, as only legitimate bidders are allowed to compete for the items in our auctions. There are no minimum bids or reserve prices, and sellers are forbidden by contract from bidding on their own equipment.

5. Inspect and Test Equipment Prior to the Auction
Our auction yard layouts make it easy for you to inspect, test and compare aggregate and mining equipment before bidding. We do everything we can to help you accurately assess the condition of equipment and answer any questions you have before the auction.
6. Clear Titles on Your Purchases
Our dedicated title search department works with consignors and their creditors prior to each auction to ensure that liens and encumbrances on equipment will be released, so you can be confident of receiving a clear title on your purchase.
