Each year, Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers sells thousands of used and unused cranes, scissorlifts, forklifts and a variety of lifting and material handling equipment at auctions around the world.
In 2007, we held more than 350 unreserved industrial and agricultural auctions in 13 different countries. Nearly three-quarters of the cranes sold at those auctions went to buyers from outside the state or country in which the sale was held.
People from many different industries are willing to travel to bid on the extensive selection of lifting and material handling equipment at our auctions. Bidders who are unable to attend in person can use the rbauctionBid-Live real-time internet bidding service.
We always have a large amount of lifting and material handling equipment listed in upcoming auctions. Check the current listings.
In addition to regular auctions at our 38 auction facilities around the world, we also hold off-site sales. In May 2006, we conducted a complete dispersal for a crane company in Oklahoma at their location. The unreserved auction attracted nearly 600 bidders, almost half of whom used the rbauctionBid-Live service. As with every Ritchie Bros. auction, every piece of equipment sold was to the highest bidder on auction day.
