We sold equipment items ranging from agricultural equipment like combines, tractors, and swathers to heavy industrial equipment like crawler tractors, hydraulic excavators, wheel loaders, and more.

Here are the five biggest ticket equipment items sold at our unreserved auctions in June:

5. 2010 Caterpillar D9T Crawler Tractor – US $740,000

This 2010 Caterpillar D9T sold for US $740,000 in Chehalis, Washington

This 2010 Caterpillar D9T crawler tractor sold for US $740,000 at the grand opening of Ritchie Bros’ new auction site in Chehalis, Washington outside Olympia on June 14. The late-model crawler tractor had just 575 operating hours.

The D9T is one of Caterpillar’s largest crawlers at over 105,000 pounds with an 18.1 litre 464 horsepower engine.

4. 2011 Caterpillar 825H Soil Compactor – AU $750,000

This 2011 Caterpillar 825H sold for AU $750,000 in Brisbane, Australia

This late-model 2011 Caterpillar 825H soil compactor sold for AU $750,000 at our Brisbane, Australia auction on June 26. This nearly new model has just 17 operating hours on it.

Soil compactors play a vital part in the construction process, used to compact the soil to support large structures such as buildings or roads.

The 825H is over 70,000 pounds.

3. 2007 Western Star 6900XD 8X8 Bed Truck – CAD $900,000

This 2007 Western Star 6900XD sold for CAD $900,000 in Grande Prairie, Alberta

This huge 2007 Western Star 6900XD 8X8 Bed Truck sold for CAD $900,000 at our Grande Prairie auction in Alberta on June 28.

Used in oil fields, this extreme-duty truck has a 486-inch wheelbase and 8x8 all wheel drive.

2. 2011 Komatsu PC1250-8 SE Hydraulic Excavator – AU $1,025,000

This Komatsu PC1250-8 SE sold for AU $1,025,000 in Brisbane, Australia

This late-model 2011 Komatsu PC1250-8 SE hydraulic excavator sold for over $1 million Australian dollars at our Brisbane, Australia auction on June 26.

With 1,245 operating hours, this excavator weighs nearly 250,000 pounds, has an 11-foot stick, and a 688 horsepower engine.

1. 2006 Marcep Intruder 6x6 Bed Truck – CAD $1,100,000

This 2006 Marcep Intruder sold for CAD $1,100,000 in Grande Prairie, Alberta

This 2006 Marcep Intruder 6x6 oilfield off-road Bed Truck sold for $1.1 million Canadian dollars on Day One of our Grande Prairie, Alberta auction on June 28.

With 487km on the odometer, this 14.0 litre diesel truck has 450 horsepower and a 376 inch wheelbase.
