All bids by proxy are submitted with the following understanding:

1. Bidding will be done on behalf of the Bidder as if he were present at the auction and his purchase will be obtained at the lowest bid possible.
2. Bids by proxy are confidential and bidding will not commence with the highest Bid by proxy.
3. The Bidder agrees to be bound by Ritchie Bros. standard Bidders Registration Agreement, a copy will be forwarded at his request.
4. Ritchie Bros. does not guarantee the year, condition, description or suitability of any item.
5. Bidder acknowledges that the Bid by proxy is accepted on the express condition that the Bidder will not have any claim against the Auctioneer or its employees if the Auctioneer fails, for any reason, to bid on behalf of the Bidder.
6. An administrative fee of 10% of the purchase price will be assessed on every Lot selling for $2,500 or less. For auctions conducted in other than U.S. dollars, the administrative fee will be assessed on every Lot selling for 2,500 or less in the currency of the auction.
7. Each Lot purchased by a Proxy Bid will be subject to a Proxy Purchase Fee of 2% of the purchase price to a maximum of $500 per Lot. For auctions conducted in other than U.S. dollars, the maximum amount is 500 per Lot in the currency of the auction.
8. All purchases must be removed from the auction site within 7 days of the end of the auction or a storage fee will be applied.
